One of the colleague brought this to the office.. and offered it to the whole office.. dare to try??

 

 

 

 

She said that her mother catch it and fried it herself.. yumms!! not!! I dare not try.. I'm such a weakling..

 

 

Double Tree by Hilton Getaway

Just a short de-stressing getaway.. dekat je pun.. DoubleTree in Jalan Ampang.. ehehehe.. mebe to some sama macam tak payah.. but for me.. macam a good jump-start especially towards the end of the year.. lagipon Adam really enjoy any hotel stay.. too obsessed dengan hotels..

DoubleTree is formerly Crown Princess Hotel.. it has been refurbished..

Arriving was quite a hassle.. we have to make another round to find their main entrance.. and then were not welcomed well by the staff.. hmmm.. Our luggage was carried along with some other family's luggage.. I know that they are full for the weekend.. but still..

 

Another thing is the lobby.. we had to take either the lift or escalator to the 1st floor where the lobby is situated.. I don't like that.. and then the Q for check-in was quite long and it took me around 30 minutes to be served.. but the warm soft cookies make-it all up..eventhough Adam gobbled the whole 2 big pieces of chocolate cookies all by himself..

The room.. was nice.. just like any hotel room.. and the view..was Jalan Ampang.. but the toilet was within view from the room..ehehehe.. then we took a nap before going down for a dip in the swimming pool on the 10th floor.. Seronok jugak lepak at the poolside surrounded by tall buildings.. ehehehhe.. Adam was really happy beyond words..

 

 

 

Malam pulak kitorang walked to the nearest complex.. Ampang Park.. where to? somewhere where I can fulfill my meat cravings.. Cozy Corner.. Malam tu memang early night in betol.. balik je dari dinner teros pengsan 3-3 orang.. ehehehhe..

 

The next morning went to the breakfast on the 11th.. for me the spread was not that interesting.. because for me and Mr. AZ, we only went for their international cuisine.. other than that was just normal things..

After the breakfast Adam and Mr. AZ took another dip at the swimming pool before we checked-out and called it a successful de-stressing getaway..

Something happened during the checked-out.. Adam was asking for choc chip cookie while we were waiting for Mr. AZ to checked-out.. I guess one of the staff heard that because when we were leaving, a staff gave Adam another 2 pieces of their signature choc chip cookies of which they only gave during checked-ins.. Thanks DoubleTree!! Adam was a really happy trooper all the way home..

 

 

Makan - Makan || Nando's Ampang Point

Another Nando's chicken craving.. As always I would order their quarter chicken meal, mild peri-peri with coleslaw but this time around instead of their chips, I ordered corn.. Then I add their garlic peri sauce with hot peri sauce and that combination was heavenly.. nyumm.. and now I'm drooling..

 

But my coleslaw taste a bit different.. macam masam sket than usual.. so I ask the waiter.. and he answered

 

"coleslaw kitorang memang masam sket kak, lain dari lain"

 

ahahah.. apa dia ingat this is my first visit kah??

 

"tapi saya memang slalu datang sini, takdela pulak masam macam ni"

 

and this is his answer

 

"ouuh.. takpe nanti saya bawak ke kitchen and check"

 

Then he came back with a new portion of fresh coleslaw that taste yumsss.. ahahaha.. lagi mau cakap memang rasa macam tu.. salah orang la.. apart from that, as always, I feel satisfied after leaving Nando's

Food :  this is my go-to place when I crave for something spicy.. in short, I love their peri-peri..

Service : good service as always.. I can only say for this particular branch

Atmosphere : a standard fast food atmosphere

Adam Registeration

Next year me and Mr. AZ decide to enroll Adam to a new school.. no more playschool.. no more playing the whole session.. Now moving to a new serious environment.. to prepare him for public school.. Hope he would adapt well just as he adapt at IOP this year..

Harimau Malaya Junior

Skarang I have to accept the fact that I have a son.. no longer my baby yang asyik berkepit dengan mama.. His boyhood dah terserlah when he wanted to follow the father smalam to watch Malaysia-Thailand..

 

Called them masa tengah on the way.. punyerla excited sampai menyanyi lagu Harimau Malaya dalam train.. He's so happy.. balik pon macam tu..

Durian Crepe Madness

It had been all over the net this durian crepe thing.. but for me, I've tasted it somewhere before when my sis was addicted to this crepe.. she get it at a booth somewhere in Bukit Bintang..

But now the craze was all over.. even at the office.. at one point, I could smell durian in whole office even in the lift!

These were one of the batch of durian crepe that my colleagues ordered.. there were more orders came after that.. If u ask me, I prefer to eat the fresh fruit .. but I have no problem with eating the fruit with cream like they were doing it now..

Made a pit stop for a light lunch before heading home after Adam final Party at Royale Bintang.. But the food was better during our last visit.. I had a plain rosti while Mr. AZ had a hawaiian chicken pizza..

As usual, we were given a passport where the staff will stamp on the card when we order.. In the end, we would be charged depending on the stamps on our passport.. For us, we only use one passport since Mr. AZ were the one doing all the ordering..
