Mak's Birthday Dinner || Sixty9 Islamic Steakhouse

This year birthday mak, Dude & I belanja dinner at this place.. Eventhough kitorang baru makan kat situ sekali je, tapi the food is okay and since mak & abah loves western kinda food.. it is the best choice..

Masa sampai tu tak ramai sangat lagi orang.. quite tenang.. and relax je nak order.. no rush.. tapi lepas dah ramai datang and quite penuh macam bising sikit tapi still acceptable..

Mak as expected order fish & chips.. portion memang besar..

Adam macam biasa, mushroom soup and Dude pon order the same chicken chop.. While Abah ordered Bratwurst.. this one lagi big portion.. Adam la paling seronok.. dapat "share" dengan aki..

Tapi yang paling win malam tu memang Adam.. birthday orang lain.. orang lain yang makan kek.. Memang sugar overload malam tu..

So, this is the place la to have a nice dinner with family.. Very comfortable..

My Super-Duper-MAN

This is our second time here.. we made a point that we would always come here everytime we are in Penang.. Its that good you guys!! I love their tandoori.. the chicken still maintain moisture even after grilling.. the naan.. oh don't let me start on the amount of cheese.. yummy yeah!!

This time around, we shared the meal since we just had our late breakfast before making our move back to KL..

I Say

Price : around RM25 for a claypot briyani and a set of cheese naan and tandoori chicken with an additional cheese naan.. I guess the price maintain the same

Food : I stick to their tandoori chicken and cheese naan

Service : serving the food was fast but its hard to get their attention for an order 

Atmosphere : a normal mamak ambience

Cleanliness : fair but it would help if they get to clean their floor once in a while 

Parking : park at the spaces near the restaurant

Short Trip to Penang

it seems like a must go place everytime we were in the northern part of the country.. yerp! Penang.. the food heaven! the must haves, nasi kandar from restoran yasmeen, tandoori and naan from restoran kapitan.. for me thats enough.. but still different people different taste.. there's stop to fulfill everybody's taste.. no worries..

So we stayed at Jen Hotel formerly known as Traders Hotel.. yup.. in the middle of the city.. not a good place for a foodie.. Since thats the only hotel available.. so we'll just make do..

The hotel is and old hotel that have been refurbished.. You still get this gloomy feelings but not that bad.. We manage to get a connecting room.. so we get to share everything.. Adam was all out with his lego and couldn't care less about the pool view we had..

We stayed there for a night just enough to get our doses of nasi kandar.. we had for snacks then dinner and a little bit of supper.. go figure how many calories just for a night..

The next day after breakfast outside, Dude bawak jalan-jalan Penang and we end up kat Padang Kota.. rupanya ada exhibition transformers.. patutla ramai orang.. Bergambar la anak-beranak dua orang tu di celah-celah orang.. asal boleh je..

Ikhasas Bowling Tournament @ IOI City Mall

Actually event ni sebelum Gold Coast lagi.. The weekend before our trip.. Since Dude dah janji dengan colleague, terpaksa la join jugak.. Katenye harapan kumpulan.. ehehehe.. Iye ke??!! The tournament tu buat kat bowling alley IOI City Mall.. kononya best la main kat alley baru.. ehehe..

 

Since tak tau nak komen banyak pasal bowling.. apa kata kita tengok gambar je??

Tapi result gempak jugak.. Overall group Dude dapat no 2.. Cayalah!! Orang Harapan!!

 

 

Gorgeously Gold Coast Part 7 || Brisbane - KLIA

Sharp at 6 O'clock, pick-up sampai.. Pick-up ni sekali dengan package train from Gold Coast to Brisbanse Airport.. Pick-up dia is quite a large car.. and selesa.. the driver pon very friendly.. WE were transfered to Nerang Station.. So, segala voucher and train tickets, driver tu akan bagi kat kita.. Tak payah pikir susah.. And dia akan bagi instruction on what to do and how to catch the train..

Ingatkan kan naik special train macam ERL.. rupanya just naik normal train.. almost semua station along the way kitorang stop.. dahla mula-mula tu train penuh.. Tapi Adam memang tak pandang kiri kanan dah.. Happy sangat dapat naik train long journey macam tu..

Sampai Airport and check-in smooth je.. no problem at all.. Tapi.. kitorang tak prepare langsong food untuk makan kat airport.. ingatkan boleh dapat halal food.. rupanya.. takda.. yang ada just coffee and drinks.. Sambil tu kunyah-kunyah lah biskut balance.. 

Nasib baik tak tunggu lama sangat.. Yang pasti sampai tanah Malaysia dengan perasaan happy and PENAT!

Gorgeously Gold Coast Part 6 || HarbourTown, Free & Easy

Today is our last day in Gold Coast.. After this home sweet home.. Pagi-pagi kitorang bangun, packing and prepare breakfast and food for the whole day.. sebab kitorang akan check-out and berjalan sepanjang hari.. Lepas dah siap semua, dah breakfast, dah kemas semua, so we bid our farewell to the apartment.. Ambik gambar sikit-sikit dalam apartment..

 

All our luggage tinggal dekat apartment's office.. So mula la kitorang berjalan-jalan and ambik gambar area surfers paradise.. Final round at the beach, at the centre of everything.. 

 

 

 

 

 

After that kitorang nak ke Harbourtown.. Outlet shopping centre.. Since kitorang still ada Go Explore Card, kitorang just reload je untuk guna the whole day.. Ohh.. Go Explore Card ni boleh beli kat 7-eleven je..  Naik tramp sampai hujung.. tapi Adam taknak turun yang hujung sebab underground, so kitorang turun kat 2nd last station and tunggu bas untuk ke Harbourtown..

 

 

 

Tak jauh pon Harbourtown tu, tapi yang penting bila sampai sampai check the timing untuk bas balik ke tramp station tadi.. Sebab penting untuk timing shopping time.. ehhehe.. takut terbabas..

Kalau nak cerita pasal shopping memang takkan berhenti punyala.. Tapi, satu je yang best kat situ ada Asian MArket yang jual macam-macam.. even Super Ring pon ade.. Adam & Dude buat keje beli Super Ring kat situ, dah la mahal  sikit.. Yang tak bestnya dah masuk angin..ehehehe..

Ruang untuk solat ada disediakan just pergi je ke visitors centre nanti dia bagitau.. Food pon no problem.. Nando's kat situ halal..

Lepas dah penat and puas keluar masuk kedai.. kitorang jalan balik ke bus stop.. Catch the tramp back to Surfers Paradise.. Masa tu dah hujan agak lebat jugak.. Kitorang just jalan area apartment sementara nak tunggu pick-up to airport..
