Being Nice

Nak cerita sebenarnya.. Kejadian ni masa lepas Sukaneka sekolah Adam.. Being me, the queen, memang takkan berjalan la jauh-jauh untuk pergi kereta tengah-tengah panas.. so while waiting untuk Dude and Adam pegi amek kereta, I waited infront of the school gate..

Masa tengah tunggu tu, I saw a family of four, a father, mother and 2 kids across the road.. The father cross jalan (yang masa tu sesak sebab orang pegi pasar tani).. tiba-tiba anak perempuan dia berlari kejar and trying to cross the road.. nasib baik the mother jerit and asked her stop and dia pon dengar jugakla cakap mak tu.. sambil nangis2 die cakap "nak ikut abah.."

Watching that, I pon senyum and just looking at the kid yang slowly (with the mother supervision) crossing the road.. My intention of senyum tu is to show that I do understand kids.. memang laa macam tu.. Lepas another child (a boy.. abang kepada yg girl ni) pon join his little sister cross the road.. Mak dia pon terpaksa la cross the road jugak sambil bebel2 laa.. and out of being nice.. I pon senyum to her..

Apa yang buat I terperanjat, is what she said while she walked pass by me.. "Apa tengok2? Seboooook je.." Ok.. Seriously, I was not being nosy or anything.. Tapi macam before this kalau nampak kejadian2 yang macam ni yang libatkan budak2 kecik.. I would usually senyum to the parents.. and never.. i mean NEVER have I ever get that kind of respond.. Selalunya.. the parents would smile back.. senyum kerang busuk pon.. but still senyum..

Tapi.. Just nak tanya.. Salah ke I senyum? Sebok ke for wathcing your daughter crossing the road while crying.. atleast I can be alert if anything happens to her while you were attending your other child.. Kan??

Tapi maybe, after this I should not do that again.. Hmmm.. Lain kali pandang tempat lain lah! Sedih la my good intention was misjudged..

Adam's Food Pack Collection

These are Adam's food pack to school everyday..

Awal-awal tu lengkap dengan buah and everything.. Tapi second week dia dah taknak buah.. biscuits je as munchy..

The main dish memang lovingly handmade by mama.. which is chicken nuggets, beef & chicken burger.. Kiranya a pack consist of nuggets or burgers or sandwiches with a packet drinks.. and biscuits / fruits..

Adam Standard 1 Orientation Day

Still tak percaya Adam dah nak masuk darjah 1.. Rasa macam baby of the family lagi.. eheheheh.. baju sekolah semua dah siap awal.. taktau la how he will react bila sampai sekolah.. jangan menangis sudah.. macam experience hantar Brainy Bunch dulu..

Pagi tu siap awal.. sambil praktis untuk real school days nanti.. memang nak kena siap awal..since Jalan Gurney tu selalu jam..

First thing masa sampai terus register attendance.. still tak ramai orang.. even the teachers pon tak berapa ready.. lambat jugak nak tunggu orang lain.. buang masa je sampai awal.. sebab semua orang datang lambat je..

Sementara tunggu tu, bagi nasihat sikit kat Adam.. eheheh.. then cikgu round up the kids ikut kelas.. ada 4 kelas je darjah 1.. then they brought the kids to their classes for further orientation.. while parents semua dengar ceramah about the school and the systems..

Habis ceramah, collect buku teks.. dah siap buku teks.. pegi kelas anak untuk jumpa cikgu & isi segala borang yang ada.. but the kids duduk kelas lain sit for a test..

Tak lama lepas tu dia anounce boleh ambik anak kat dewan and orientation tamat..

Jumpa Adam and asked him about his day.. ada kawan tak and all that sort.. dia kata ada kawan.. bila tanya nama kawan tros angkat bahu cakap tak tau.. ahahahaha.. bila tanya suka tak school sini.. dia kate suka.. 

So.. successful orientation day i suppose..

Working on Weekends

Bukan working sangatla pon.. its just that ofis kitorang jadi host untuk sukan kementerian.. memang the whole week totally arrange for sukan ni.. bahagian kitorang incharge of hadiah & cenderahati.. memang shopping spree la the whole week.. beli hadiah cabutan bertuah.. which is basikal boleh lipat and hampers..and also bonsai untuk cenderahati acara perasmian dan penutup..

It was a tiring weekend but a satisfying one.. as we are able to host an event for the whole ministry and I can say a successful event with little unavoidable hiccups here and there.. congrats JASians!!

Aidilfitri 1434H

Salam Aidilfitri kepada semua.. so harini dah 1 Syawal.. apa plan?

Kitorang start the day with a heavy breakfast.. nasik ayam.. then everybody went for solat Aidilfitri

After this.. nak pegi beraya sakan to rumah sedara-mara yang beraya KL this year.. tomorrow baru sambung beraya at my hometown.. Tepen!! The next entry would be when we're back here in KL..

And Adam managed to finished all 58 pages of his homework by himself.. this includes the chicken pox and all the excuses like

"Adam kena rehat, nanti Adam sakit"

"Adam writing sikit je, taknak banyak"

"Adam nak minum susu, Adam nak sleep"

after writing a letter, "Adam dah penat.."

Homework on School Holiday

Adam brought back couple of workbook on his last day of school and together with a note for the parents to assist the kids to finish up the work assigned for them..

I counted the pages that Adam have to do.. and it is 58 pages!! I suspected that actually the work have to be done at school.. but knowing my son - who the teacher reported during his 1st progress report needs a lot of practice in writing - he didn't do it..  and since the school have this concept of no homework.. he was not sent back with a homework.. 

Sekarang Mama bertukar jadi naga!! singa pon boleh jugak..

So.. I did this table just to monitor his homework progress.. and put it in front of him..

I guess this table give him some sort of encouragement to finish his homework.. he wanted to do more pages when he saw me striking off a couple of boxes..

Just like the last General Election, I cast my vote in KL and Mr. AZ in his hometown.. But this time around he casted hi vote first then we came back to KL for my turn.. because we had a wedding to attend..

Everything went smoothly at my polling centre.. even MR. AZ's.. So now, let just wait for the result!
