Ada sehari tu teringin sangat makan Manhattan Fish Market.. So, dengan gigihnya carik Manhattan Fish Market.. Sekali makan tak banyak mana pon.. nafsu je lebih!

 

Department's Jamuan Raya

Ok.. this year I'm guilty of not taking pictures of our Deparments Raya get together.. I blame it on the luxurious food.. Sinfully guilty of eating all the foods.. all those yummy fat going down the stomach.. 

There were rendang daging and lemang.. nasi himpit and kuah kacang.. not forgetting satay.. and of course lamb.. ouhh.. its like I am in food heaven.. Everybody kept their health check by the side.. No body think twice on what they put in their small plates..

However, I manage to take a couple of pictures to just take a breather from the food..

Anybody experiencing the same problem??

His Craving

He now always craving for chocolate brownies.. everywhere we go.. he would request for a chocolate brownies.. Sorry Adam, mama is not in her baking mode.. if not, I surely will bake you loads of chocolate brownies..

Another night out..

The place of choice is Cafe Lapis! hahahha.. Adam's craving for their brownies..

This time around Dude ordered their Monte Cristo.. It is beef bacon, pastrami and cheese in a thick batter..

As for me I go for their sambal chicken wings.. little that I know its sauce is the super hot kinda sauce.. Only to be mentioned by the server that it's going to be super hot.. and she nicely brought me a glass of milk and another glass of ice.. to wash of the spiciness..

True to her word.. it was totally spicy to the power of infinity.. but I just can't stop eating.. I think thats how "the hotter the better" came up.. But seriously.. I wont be ordering it again.. ahaahah.. Weak!

So.. its another round of visit to Acacia.. I ordered the same old Bihun KungFu..

It tasted the same as the last visit.. happy tummy.

But the star is the teh ais.. 

I think they use a special kind of tea here..

1 glass is not enough..

Price : quite expensive.. only suitable for once in a while kind of thing
Food : delicious especially the ala-carte.. even their nasi campur is good too..
Service : good
Atmosphere : office cafe style
Cleanliness : clean
Parking : a lot of parking especially at the parking block,, and if you're lucky, you can get a parking in front of the restaurant

Frozen Marinated Lamb

Satu hari tu Dude cakap kejap lagi ada kawan dia nak datang hantar frozen lamb chop.. Dia order untuk tolong kawan berniaga.. I on the other hand takda masalah.. tapi order sampai berkotak-kotak dah kenapa?

Rupanya, untuk kawan dia deliver the lamb kena order certain amount.. ok.. nasib baik lamb memang laku kat rumah ni.. Adam pon boleh tahan favourite jugak.. Memang sebulan sekali ada la kena marinated lamb simpan siap-siap..

Nama frozen marinated lamb ni Hatinie's Kitchen.. rasa macam penah nampak masa jualan kat ofis sebelum ni.. tapi macam tak berapa pandang sebab marinate sendiri lagi senang.. Lagipun takut rasa tak sampai..

Dapat je lamb tu terus try satu box kecik.. Dude beli 2 box besar and 2 box kecik.. lamb tu comes together dengan satu peket pepper sauce.. frozen jugak.. just panaskan and I added butter sikit.. tak tau kenapa tapi rasa macam nak tambah jugak butter.. ehehehe..

Lamb tu masak dalam Pemanggang Ajaib yang memang ajaib.. Lamb yang ala-ala ais tu letak skali dengan butter dalam Pemanggang Ajaib tapi api memang kecik betul.. tutup untuk dapat effect steaming tu..lepas tu masak la bagi kering..

Rasa? memang sedap.. no complaint dari sapa-sapa pon yang makan.. siap sekali bukak box kecik dah tak cukup.. so sekarang kitorang memang simpan stok of Hatinie's Kitchen marinated lamb.. sebab senang.. Dude pon boleh buat sendiri bila dia teringin.. tak payah nak pegi beli kat supermarket.. ada delivery lagi.. Black Pepper sauce dia pon ada banyak lebih yang boleh dimakan dengan bende lain lagi.. boleh jadi marinate jugak..

I actually wanted to eat lasagne and have tried a couple of place that fail to satisfy my tastebud.. until a friend suggest a cafe somewhere close to home.. Summore Adam wanted to eat brownies.. he's been a brownies monster since forever.. and have requested for me to bake for him.. but the home oven broke and we were not in the mood to repair or even buying a new one..

At first glance, the cafe doesn't seems inviting.. there were not many tables and most of it were already occupied.. I was already suggesting to leave until a group left the cafe.. Adam almost ran to sit..

The deco I love so much.. clean look.. there were a bottle of water and glass on the table together with a jar of sugar.. I guess its for the coffee..

The food choices wasn't that much but I dont mind at all because I saw lasagne as one of the food listed.. eheheh..

So ordered a lasagne.. a brownies for Adam, a kiddie meal for Adam also and a coffee for Dude.. ouhh and a moroccan meatballs for Dude..

Adam's kiddie meal came first with his shake.. and then Dude's meatballs.. 

My lasagne was the last to arrive.. piping hot.. fresh from the oven.. the taste?? its just like heaven.. just the way I like it.. and the way I cook my lasagne.. everything was perfect! I told Dude that I don't have to spend the whole day in the kitchen anymore when I'm craving for a lasagne.. hahaha..

But the portion was too big.. even the help from Dude there were still some left.. Adam was truly satisfied with his brownies..

We went back that night with 3 very happy tummies.. wouldn't miss a visit here again..

Makan - Makan || Restoran Pecel Lele Mbak Aan & Dila, Kajang

My second visit here.. but this time with a group of colleague for lunch.. since we have to attend a half day seminar somewhere near.. Might as well grab the opportunity..

I love the food there.. eventhough I can't stand the sambal.. too heaty for my taste.. but it didn't stop me from enjoying it with my hot smashed fried chicken.. and grabbing my drink every minute to cool down..

And oh don't forget to add-in fried tempe (fermented soybean) and tofu.. and have it together with your rice and the sambal.. yummyy.. Just by thinking of it (to type this entry) I am salivating!!

The drink.. I ordered Soda Gembira.. it is similar to air bandung soda (johor style).. and I ordered 2 of it.. the taste is just nice.. not too sweet and not too gassy.. perfect for me.. and it also have this creamy taste..

Would suggest to whoever enjoy the ayam penyet.. this is to die for.. I tell you! some of my colleague would just forget of their no rice diet just to eat here.. so.. go figure!

Price : affordable because a set of lele (catfish) is only RM5.50 and ayam penyet (smashed chicken) RM6.00
Food : i love the food especially the fish and chicken,, they would prepare on order.. so the set came to you piping hot.. with the powerful sambal..
Service : service was fast considering they would fry on order
Atmosphere : a normal restaurant
Cleanliness : clean
Parking : for me this is the main problem.. it is really hard to get a parking here.. it all depends on luck!

It all started after the working trip to Pahang.. the boss I there with suggested me to try the salted egg soft shell crab here.. according to him this this is to die for.. his family would come here just to have the dish.. he even said they won't mind to order that this eventhough their stomach was already full..

Not wanting to be behind.. I suggested to Dude to try this particular to die for dish at one of their branch.. TTDI.. so my mission was to try their salted egg soft shell crab.. oohh.. this restaurant is a chinese muslim restaurant.. so go figure on their choices of food..

After ordering our drink and food.. soft shell crab and a plate of cantonese noodle.. we waited.. then the dish came.. I was thrill to try.. but was dissapointed that my crab was already cold.. did they pre-cooked the dish since it is the most popular dish? It took us quite sometime to finish it.. We even  managed to clear up the noodle before the crab..

Even I was dissapointed with the crab, but it wont stop me from going to their other branch (planning on going to the specific branch that the boss went)..
