Kit Kat Bakeable Cheesecake

Got this from a colleague who just came back from Japan..

She said the green tea Kit Kat is too normal..

so she bought these instead..

Being the silly me.. I overbaked them..

But its still taste good and yummy!

Where can we get these babies here in Malaysia? anyone??

Wedding || Ezreen & Fikri

A wedding of a Srikandi..

Since Dude's working, I went there with another Srikandi together with Adam..

The wedding is in Seremban..

We arrived at the wedding just as the bride & groom arrived..

But since I came with Adam, and he's already hungry..

So I ate first before meeting the bride & groom..

Together with other Srikandi's, we went to see the bride and took a couple of pictures..

and some wefie's..

After what seems like thousands of wefie's, we made our separate ways..
Me and my partner went home..

Such a happy moment to see the girls again..
So missing the happy days in Desa Tun..

Department's Jamuan Raya

Ok.. this year I'm guilty of not taking pictures of our Deparments Raya get together.. I blame it on the luxurious food.. Sinfully guilty of eating all the foods.. all those yummy fat going down the stomach.. 

There were rendang daging and lemang.. nasi himpit and kuah kacang.. not forgetting satay.. and of course lamb.. ouhh.. its like I am in food heaven.. Everybody kept their health check by the side.. No body think twice on what they put in their small plates..

However, I manage to take a couple of pictures to just take a breather from the food..

Anybody experiencing the same problem??

Makan - Makan || Toastbox, IOI City Mall

Actually ni masa awal-awal IOI City Mall launching.. tak banyak lagi kedai bukak.. so, kitorang tak jalan banyak sangat.. More to nak cari makan jek.. since hari Jumaat kan? Tapi sebab satu floor tu penuh dengan tempat makan.. we were spoiled with choices..

End up kitorang just walk to a place yang stand out.. Toast Box masa ni sangat menyerlah sebab dia all-white.. terang sangat nampak.. Menarik giler!!

Dah tengok menu terus Q-up and order kat kaunter.. Yup! self-order.. tapi food akan dihantar kat meja.. Kitorang order toast.. mee siam special and curry laksa..

Tunggu tu agak lama jugak.. tengok meja lain pon still tunggu food.. after about like an eternity later.. air and toast sampai.. Nasib baik..cool down sikit..

Tunggu lagi for the main dish.. tunggu punya tunggu punya tunggu.. tak sampai.. and the last draw adalah bila one of the staff boleh datang and tanya apa yang kitorang order? like what the $#%#?? Masa tu dah hangat dah.. sebab lunch hour is almost over and kitorang x mkan lagi..

So, we asked one of the waiter cakap kitorang nak cancel our order boleh tak? Lepas tu th ordere cashier yang ambik have the guts untuk datang and cakap "boleh.. tapi saya kena kira yang dah makan ni la!" dengan jeling lagi.. perggghhhh.. dia ingat kitorang nak makan free ape??!!

Kitorang pon habiskan lah apa yang tinggal.. since dah nak kena charge kan??  Tak lama lepas tu the cashier datang and bagi balance without even saying sorry or bagitahu apa yang dia charge..

That's it!! full stop! No more Toast Box after this.. sorry..

Wedding || Zira & Adam

A wedding reception of Dude's colleague.. An evening reception at the groom's family house.. this is a invite only reception.. and Dude was given an invitation with a plus 1.. No luck of bringing Adam along.. He was truly disapointed.. because surprisingly.. he loves weddings! I guess he loves more of the food part.. not the whole ceremony thingy..

Luckily Adam was not there.. the ceremony started late.. Adam won't last long.. And it was a warm night.. By the end of the reception, I just couldn't care less about how I look anymore.. The food by Felda D'Saji.. I can already guess on the menu..   

The downside of hosting a sit-in reception dinner at home is you couldn't cater the entertainment to all the guests because of the seating arrangements.. Our table was the ones that missed all the entertainment especially the videos from the whole family to the bride & groom..

We were among the first ones to leave the reception once they ended.. We had a long way back home.. somemore somebody is waiting for us very impatiently.. ehehehe..

So.. its another round of visit to Acacia.. I ordered the same old Bihun KungFu..

It tasted the same as the last visit.. happy tummy.

But the star is the teh ais.. 

I think they use a special kind of tea here..

1 glass is not enough..

Price : quite expensive.. only suitable for once in a while kind of thing
Food : delicious especially the ala-carte.. even their nasi campur is good too..

Parking : a lot of parking especially at the parking block,, and if you're lucky, you can get a parking in front of the restaurant

Farewell Gift for Good Friends

There were a major reshuffling of officers at the office.. Sadly couple of my closest colleagues were one of them.. It came kind of a shock to us.. but what to do..

Ada satu hari tu dah tak larat nak makan dekat cafe ofis ni.. lepas tu ada pulak colleague yang rajin nak g makan jauh sikit dari biasa (read : naik kereta perjalanan lebih daripada 10 minit).. terus ada someone suggest Nasi Ayam Madu dekat Jalan Lama Bangi.. dekat dengan Agensi Nuklear Malaysia..

Nasi and ayam dia biasa je.. sama je macam normal nasi ayam kat mana-mana.. tapi.. the chilli sauce tu pekat and manis.. and ade hidden treasure between the chicken and sauce! cili padi potong!! pergghhh.. heaven betol dapat.. manis-manis.. pastu tiba-tiba explosion of pedas cili padi.. memang mintak cili padi potong extra sebab every bite nak ada cili padi tu..

Tapi yang tak bestnya.. ikut nasib chicken parts yang kita dapat.. tak semestinya dapat favourite parts.. sebab  kakak yang ambik order taknak layan request-request ni.. berserah je laa.. hope for parts yang boleh layan..

Harga? not sure tapi between RM4 - RM5.. sebab masa tu ada orang belanja.. tapi guaranteed affordable..

Tempat ni selalu penuh bila lunch hour.. sebab banyak jugak ofis area situ.. especially student and staff UKM.. so either be early or come a little bit later.. sebab dia ada sampai petang rasanya.. tapi jangan la petang sangat.. So.. apa lagi?? sila bawa diri anda ke Jalan Bangi Lama and rasalah nasi ayam kat sini.. gerenti termimpi-mimpi!!

Makan - Makan || Killiney Kopitiam, Putrajaya

Selepas beberapa kali nak makan kat Killiney asyik cancel je.. Finally dapat jugak makan sini.. Teringin nak makan bihun siam yang dengar-dengar sedap betul.. Summore nak makan bihun siam.. last makan masa sekolah rendah.. makan kat one of the stall kat rumah..

Kalau ikut memori, bihun siam ni is bihun yang digoreng kosong.. lepas tu kuah masam-masam manis dituang sekali dengan isi like ayam & sayur.. memang sedap la combination tu.. it is supposed to be originated from south or more accurately Jawa people..

Order hot honey lemon sebab tengah batuk.. bila tak sihat baru sedar diri tak order ais.. kalau tidak.. ais all the way..

This is supposed to be the star.. tapi sangatla hampa.. seriously I have to say this.. tak sedap lansung! rasa masam pon tak.. sampai tak tau nak kategorikan apa.. memang makan tak habis..

Even colleagues yang joib sekali pon tak habis her order.. Ada sorang collegue, order tak sampai.. bila tanya.. waiter tu baru nak cakap that order dah habis.. kalau tak tanye tadi? tunggu sampai bila?

Other than that, kitorang ada order toast butter & kaya.. the waiter cakap dah habis.. so kitorang pon ok je laa.. Masa ada sorang colleague nak tanya pasal order dia, dia ada ternampak satu table tu makan toast.. Dia pon tanya waiter tu sebab kata toast dah habis.. boleh pulak dia jawab.. roti yang kitorang nak tu dah habis.. roti lain ada la lagi.. macamtu pulak??!!

Yang paling sedih sekali is the waiters tak kemas meja lepas customer left the kopitiam.. Biar je meja penuh dengan pinggan & cups sampai banyak lalat masuk & hurung meja tu..  Then mula la banyak lalat kat dalam kedai.. 

I think the owner / manager kena buat something to upgrade their service laa.. even the  food.. they should taste before serving.. I don't like to talk bad.. tapi this time around tak boleh tahan laa.. sebab its really bad..

But that's my experience at the particular branch.. Tempat lain mungkin bukan macam ni and masa lain bukan macam ni.. so.. this is in my opinion..

Masa ni officemate ajak makan tempat yang lain dari biasa.. tempat biasa is cafe dekat office.. tempat lain dari biasa kali ni is Ayer@8.. and this particular officemate teringin makan makanan arab..and dia pilih Al-Maeda..

Masa ni I was already feeling not well.. tak teruk sangat lagi tapi tekak dah rasa tak sedap and pahit.. kaalau ikut I am not a good companion masa ni.. tapi.. takkan nak lunch sorang-sorang??

Sampai restoran tu, orang dah agak ramai jugak.. Nasib baik ada 1 tempat kosong indoor.. tak sanggup nak lunch kat luar tengah-tengah panas.. walaupun view adalah tasik Putrajaya..

Instead of makan nasi.. semua order lauk je.. as in grilled chicken, lamb makan dengan roti.. the set comes together with fries and a small portion of salad and sauce..

For me, I ordered chicken.. mine is a bit dry.. dengan tekak pahit lagi la bercinta nak habiskan quarter ayam tu.. tapi paksa jugakla.. Manage to only finish half of it.. yang lain sharing is caring with kawan-kawan.. tapi I think, if my tastebud is normal, I would love the grill.. sebab pinggan semua orang licin.. mine pon in the end licin..

Jalan-jalan cari breakfast around pekan PD memang susah.. tak tau nak stop mane.. kitorang end up somewhere near Nasreen Songkla seafood kalu tak silap lah.. sebelah restoran tu nampak orang ramai kat satu gerai nih.. malas nak pikir panjang, decide breakfast kat situ jek sebab dah lapar..

Kat gerai ni ada nasi lemak & roti canai.. standard menu for breakfast.. Adam without hesitating order roti canai.. me and Dude ambik nasi lemak and share roti canai..

Nasi lemak dia biase je tapi rendang daging is very the marvelous.. itu yang buat tambah nasi lagi.. ehehhehe..

Roti canai pon sedap.. garing & lembut at the same time.. kuah dhal & sambal is jut the way i like it.. sorry.. gambar roti canai tak sempat ambik.. dah licin..

Kiranya that place is a gem in disguise.. nasib baik decide to stop here.. so that next time breakfast in Port Dickson boleh datang sini lagi..

the main entrance inviting customer to go in and have a look at their menu.. I bet that most of us would pass this kind of places.. but it would be your lost.. I love it here..

the wall in the restaurant were decorated with clock with other countries local time.. it is said that the owner used to be a sailor.. and likes to travel..

Since we were already late for breakfast menu, we added up with a lunch menu and make it a super late brunch.. so these are what we ordered..

Coffee.. very kaww.. this is my first time tasting super kaww coffee.. it was not to my liking.. but I love that it was still hot even after a while.... maybe it was the kopitiam coffee cup.. and the coffee smells delicious!

we shared this bread toasts together with Adam.. it was nothing special.. a normal kind of toasts.. and the bread arrives cold!

this is me and Adam's main menu, kueytiaw kungFu.. this is delicious! Dude have to stop me from ordering another one.. it seems that it wasn't enough for me and Adam..ahahah..

Dude added a 2 half boiled eggs for him.. so.. that about it.. I would probably suggest this place to anybody going to Port Dickson.. and I would surely come again if we were to come and holidaying here again..
