Exploring Europe Part 3 || Liverpool - Cheshire Oaks - Manchester

Sambung Part 3 pulak..

The main activity today is shopping!! at one of the Designer Outlet.. Cheshire Oaks.. around 45 minutes drive from Manchester.. Today kawan Dude accompanied us.. so takda problem with navigation.. and since Liverpool is nearby, Dude decided to make a pitstop to Liverpool.. Nak visit the stadium of MU rivals.. Liverpool and Everton..

The first stop is Anfield.. stadium ni located between houses je.. kira kalau ade game memang bergegar laa rumah keliling tu.. Sini, kitorang just ambik gambar at the front and visit their store.. sama macam at Old Trafford.. just the fridge magnet..

Next is Goodison Park.. located not far from Anfield.. tapi stadium ni tak dekat sangat dengan rumah.. Here, we just take couple of pictures just to mark that we were here.. Tak nampak pulak store dia.. only to find out later that the store is on the other side of the road.. duh!

Then, Dude's friend brought us to Albert Dock.. One of the must visit place.. Kat sini ada shopping area near the dock.. mostly local brands.. tak masuk pon sebab allocation is on the next place.. Kat sini jugak ada the Beatles exhibition.. Tapi kitorang tak masuk.. sebab not our scene.. ehhehe..

By that time dah close to lunch.. so cari tempat makan.. According to Dude's friend, most of halal restaurant serves fried chicken.. It wont be a problem for Adam.. Tapi.. restaurant tu tutup pulak since it is on Friday.. terpaksa la pusing-pusing and finally jumpa satu restaurant halal bukak.. fried chicken for Adam and Dude's friend.. Me and Dude ordered kebab (which end up tak habis).. rasa sikit Adam punya fried chicken.. terus rasa menyesal tak order fried chicken.. sedap!

Lepas makan terus rasa excited sebab.. we're heading to Cheshire Oaks! Kat sini tak payah cerita la yeh? it was fun! memang murah.. 

 

 

 

By the time we left Cheshire Oaks dah almost gelap.. and sampai Manchester memang dah malam.. Dude's friend bawak kitorang dinner at one of the famous Restaurant in Rusholme are.. Rusholme ni area Malaysian ramai.. sebab dia dekat area university.. Restaurant Al-Jazeera ni famous because of the price and the portion.. a huge plate of rice and half spring chicken is only £6.. 3+1 orang makan 2 plate of rice.. tak habis.. go figure!

That night, kitorang tido lena.. Its our last night in Manchester.. esok nak pegi London..

Sampai kat Ibis Budget Trafford Road tu dapat tau tak boleh check-in lagi.. dalam 1 hour lagi.. We decided untuk tunggu je at the lobby and discuss our itinerary.. Lepas la 2 cup of hot chocolate for Adam baru kitorang dapat check-in.. ohh.. hot chocolate sedap yehh.. Hot chocolate ni beli kat vending machine Ibis..

Bilik Ibis budget ni ok.. simple je.. ade double decker bed.. toilet & shower asing.. tv but takda dressing table.. die just letak table and a bench.. and takda closet.. just a small coat hangers.. okla.. but we get a good view.. untuk Adam laa.. dapat dia tengok tram yang lalu everytime.. sebab our room mengadap one of the tram stop..

Ok.. lepas freshen-up and brunch.. kitorang keluar balik for our main itinerary in Manchester.. Old Trafford tour! Ticket untuk tour termasuk sekali museum.. tapi since kitorang dah lambat for our group tour.. kitorang skip dulu museum.. lepas habis tour baru back to museum..

Tour group kitorang lead by a young MU die hard fan.. memang he knows MU at the back of his hand.. and he's funny too..

The funny thing about this picture is.. lepas ambik gambar ni Adam cakap.. "Mama, mana semua orang ni? why takde orang?" at first rasa macam soalan biasa sampai la ajak dia bangun to follow the whole group.. dia cakap "Eh.. Adam nak tengok football ni.. Where are we going??" Only that I realised yang dari masuk stadium dia dok ingat nak tengok game.. kesian anak mama...no wonder he make himself comfortable at the seat..

Kitorang dapat pegi all the places in the stadium.. all 4 sides of the stadium.. and pegi VIP room, players lounge area.. tunnel.. media centre.. hot seat.. and also VIP seats..

 Dekat East Stand ni MU dedicate for the lost of their team in Munich.. tahun 1958.. aircrash.. even a Tunnel named Munich tunnel..

Tadi kan kata nak pegi masuk museum after tour? bila kitorang habis tour je.. rupanya museum dah tutup.. melepas.. tapi kitorang masuk MU Megastore.. takda beli apa pon.. just tengok-tengok.. tapi beli la fridge magnet as a collection..

 

 

 

 

After the Old Trafford.. kitorang ingat nak go for a drive in Manchester.. just to get the feel.. tapi rasa sangat mengantuk.. so kitorang balik hotel dengan semangat nak berjalan-jalan malam nanti.. Only to be awaken by a call from kawan Dude tanye how was our day.. and guess what?? masa tu dah midnight!! kira haritu habis macam tu je.. rugi!

Fee untuk Old Trafford stadium tour : £18 (adult) & £12 (child)

Tapi kalau ada MU member card dapat lagi less.. kitorang guna kad kawan Dude.. so jimat sikit di situ..
